Terms and Conditions

1) Every visitor must purchase a ticket to gain entry 
1.1) Ticket types: 
Infant ticket: under 1 year old
Child ticket: 1 - 12 years old
Adult ticket: 13 - 64 years old
Senior ticket: 65 years old and above
People with disabilities

2) Caregiver supervision is required for all children 
2.1) Children under 5 years old must be accompanied by a caregiver at all times. 
2.2) A caregiver can supervise a maximum of two children whose age is both 5 years old and/or above. 
2.3) Visitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times.

3) Request for changes of tickets
3.1) Under no circumstances can any tickets be refunded or exchanged for any other services and/or merchandise  
3.2) Decrease in ticket quantity and changes to ticket type cannot be accommodated after buying. 
3.3) Unused or expired confirmed quota will be considered as forfeited.
3.4) Visitors who cannot visit CDM due to illness may request to rebook a session. Click "FAQ" for more details. 
3.5) After payment, CDM can accommodate additional guests only if maximum capacity has not been reached. To add additional guests after payment, click "FAQ" for more details. 
3.6) Change of date and time slot must be made at least seven (7) days before the purchased time slot, subject to availability. Less than seven days before the purchased time slot, change of date and time slot is not permitted, under any circumstances or reasons. Changes to session date or time can be accommodated only if space is available. There is a service fee of $15 for a one time change.

4) Required document for concession tickets
4.1) For admittance into CDM for concessionary ticket holders of infants, people with disabilities, and seniors, please show Certificate of Registration of Birth/ Registration Card for People with Disabilities issued by the Central Registry for Rehabilitation/ Senior Citizen Card. 
4.2) Failure to present proper identification will result in having to pay the difference of a full price ticket. 

5) Admission into CDM and Re-entry
5.1) Admission to CDM is limited to the designated period of time indicated on the receipt of booking. 
5.2) Re-entry for the same person is permitted within the designated period - no exchange to a different person, adult or child, is permitted. 
5.3) If the carer needs to leave CDM at any time during the designated period, the child/children that the carer is supervising must also leave CDM. 
5.4) Any time away from CDM will not be compensated, the purchased 2.5 hour time period begins immediately upon arrival.

6) Session times
6.1) Visitors must leave promptly at the end of the session as CDM will begin cleaning immediately.
6.2) If visitors arrive at CDM with less than 2.5 hours before the end of the session, the admission price will be for a 2.5 hour experience. 
6.3) CDM has a maximum capacity of 150 visitors. Available walk-in ticket quota is dependent on current visitor numbers. 
6.4) Subject to quota availability and if applicable, additional play time of 15 minute increments can be added within the purchased session. 

7) Inclement weather
7.1) If the Hong Kong Observatory hoists the Black Rainstorm signal, or the typhoon signal No. 8 or above three hours before the start of a session, the session will be postponed. 
7.2) No cancellation or refund will be provided for the postponed session. 
7.3) If CDM decides to close due to inclement weather, person responsible for the booking must register for another session as soon as possible within 60 days from the original date of the session, failure to do so will deem the booking as forfeited.

8) The Children’s Museum Ltd. reserves the right to change the "Terms and Conditions" at any time.

9) Any disputes connected in any way to the booking will be resolved by Children’s Museum Ltd. in its absolute discretion.

10) In case of any discrepancies between the English and Chinese versions of these "Terms and Conditions", the English version shall prevail.
