Exhibit Areas

CDM builds on the traditions of children's museums around the world by offering exciting opportunities for children to learn through play. CDM has over 40 customized exhibits, each developed with an educational goal and designed for children at different developmental and physical stages. There is something for everyone at CDM!

At CDM, you will find:

  • Hands-on exhibits, facilitated programs, and inviting environments that encourage learning by doing

  • Educational content in the areas of language and literacy, S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math), culture, and environmental awareness/stewardship

  • Opportunities for families, across multiple generations, and school groups to meaningfully engage together and to create lasting memories

  • Trained Discovery Staff (floor facilitators) in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin to enrich the learning experience

Explore the wonders of nature, where our resources come from, and the ways we can help protect our environment.

Tinkering Lab

Build it. Test it. Create it! Experiment with unique tools and materials and see what discoveries you find. You might even get a little messy in the process.

Story Stage!

Everyone has a story to express! Make, direct, and role-play a story of your own at Story Stage.

Transit Tots

All aboard! Toddlers engage all their senses when exploring city transportation in this area designed for children three years old and under.
