Terms and Conditions
Bonus 30-Minutes
1) DM your photos and videos (applies to Sai Wan Ho location only), as well as your sharing. We will reply within two (2) business days with details.
2) "Bonus 30-minutes" offer can only be used with a purchase of a 1.5 hour session.
3) The booking system will only display your purchased 1.5-hour session. Upon arrival, please show us your uploaded photos or videos, and we’ll provide you with a bangle to enjoy an additional 30 minutes as a bonus.
4) This offer is only applicable to the purchase of CDM tickets for the time slot from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM between May 5th and May 31st, 2024. Sessions are limited and bookings are processed on a first come first served basis.
5) "Bonus 30-minutes" offer is only applicable for one (1) child and one (1) adult. If other accompanying people wish to extend their playtime, they must purchase additional tickets separately.
6) CDM reserves the right to reproduce the images, videos and/or sounds of any participants of this promotion for educational and promotional purposes without compensating any individual.
7) CDM reserves the right to modify the content description without further notice.
8) Visitors must comply with CDM's safety rules and regulations.
9) CDM reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions, change or terminate the offer without any notice. In case of any dispute, CDM reserves the right of final decision.
10) If there is any discrepancy between the Chinese and English versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
Privacy
11) CDM reserves the right to photograph, film, record or otherwise reproduce the image and/or sounds of any person who enters CDM/during the workshop and use the documentation for any purpose and marketing use without payment to any person. If you do not wish yourself and/or your child to be photographed or filmed, you must inform CDM in writing three (3) business days before the start of the workshop.
Health and Safety
12) CDM reserves the right to refuse entry to any persons whose body temperature is higher than 37 degrees Celsius (as indicated by the temperature detector used by CDM) or to those who have significant respiratory infections into the museum.
13) CDM reserves the right to determine the severity of the symptoms and refuses admittance of any child if CDM believes there is any medical concern. No refund or compensation will be given if entry is refused due to illness.
14) By making the payment, you agree to waive your right to pursue legal action against CDM or its staff or interns from any and all liability for injury, illness, or any other condition of yourself or your child(ren) that may occur during direct or indirect participation in any activities or programs while at CDM and after leaving CDM.
Weather Arrangement
15) If the Black Rainstorm or Typhoon 8 signal is hoisted 2.5 hours before the workshop starts, CDM and Press Start Academy will make our best attempt to reschedule a make-up session. If the participant cannot attend, we regret that we will not provide a second make-up session and no refund will be issued.
If workshop cannot be rearranged, the workshop portion of $160 will be refunded. The participant can join the one hour of "learning through play" exploration. Adult accompanient will be required, so a $60 ticket must be purchased before arrival. The date and time will be decided by CDM, and failure to visit will be deemed as forfeited. No further re-arrangements will be made. Under no circumstances will refunds for this portion of the package be given.
16) Specific on day weather arrangements will be sent to participants via the email provided during registration. Information stated in the email prevails over all other information and is final.
17) By entering into CDM, all visitors agree to abide by the "Visiting Guide", as well as the "Terms and Conditions" and "Disclaimer" listed on the CDM website. The Children’s Museum Ltd. reserves the right to change the "Terms and Conditions" at any time.
18) The Hong Kong Children's Discovery Museum reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions, change or terminate the offer without any notice. In case of any dispute, the Museum reserves the right of final decision.
19) If there is any discrepancy between the Chinese and English versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
