Terms & Conditions
1) "2024 Friends+ Play Package": $1,100 (Original price). "Friends of CDM" can purchase a package at an early bird rate of $1,000 on or before 31 December, 2023.
2) "2024 Friends+ Play Package" ("Package") can be purchased in units of one child and one adult.
3) Holder of the package can redeem/purchase tickets for sessions starting from January 2 to June 30, 2024. If any tickets are redeemed/purchased with the Promo Codes before or after the Promotion Period, any price difference must be paid before entry or else, the tickets will be deemed as forfeited.
4) "2024 Friends+ Play Package" consists:
i) Three Visit Passes (Each pass is valid for one 1.5 hours play session)
ii) Unlimited Weekday Free Entry (Mondays to Fridays (excluding Public Holidays), limited to enjoy one 1.5 hours walk-in session per day)
iii) 25% off Weekend Tickets (Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays)
iv) 20% off Friend Tickets Discount (Maximum of 4 accompanying friends to enjoy the discount for one 1.5 hours walk-in session per day)
v) 10% off "S.T.E.A.M Workshop Packages"
i. Three Visit Passes (Each pass = 1.5 Hour Session) - Promo Codes for the Three Visit Passes will be sent via email. Each Promo Code can be used to redeem the number of units equivalent to the number of units purchased for "2024 Friends+ Play Package". Promo Codes can only be used on CDM's online ticketing page.
ii. Unlimited Weekday Free Entry - Holders of the "2024 Friends+ Play Package" can enjoy free entry on Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays). Each holder can only enjoy one 1.5 hour walk-in session per day. To enjoy, holder must be redeemed in person at the museum on a first come first served basis. No online booking or pre-booking is available.
iii. 25% off Weekend Ticket - One 25% off Ticket Discount Promo Code will be sent via email. The Promo Code can be used during the period from January 2 to June 30, 2024 to purchase unlimited 1.5 hour session tickets for Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays at a 25% discount for the number of units purchased for "2024 Friends+ Play Package" on CDM's online ticketing page. This Promo Code can only be used at CDM's online ticketing page.
iv. 20% off Friend Ticket Discount - On the day of the session, holder of the "2024 Friends+ Play Package" can purchase tickets for their accompanying friends at 20% off the ticket price per person (maximum of 4 people). Purchases can only be made onsite and only if space is available.
v. 10% off "S.T.E.A.M Workshop Packages" - Holders of the "2024 Friends+ Play Package" can enjoy 10% off for joining "S.T.E.A.M Workshop Packages".
*Offer number 1 and 3 must be redeemed/purchased on CDM's website via Promo Codes. Promo Codes are non-transferable. More details will be provided upon confirmation. *Offer number 2 and 4 must be completed as walk-in transactions.
5) Interested parties must sign up online to purchase the Package. Payment must be made online. Completed transaction record must be uploaded during the application.
6) Successful applicants will receive Three (3) Promo Codes for the Three (3) Visit Passes and one 25% off Weekend Ticket Discount Promo Code within seven working days. Please apply the relevant Promo Codes to book a session at the Hong Kong Children's Discovery Museum ("CDM") online ticketing platform（www.childrensdiscoverymuseumticket.hk）. Should the selected session be unavailable for any reasons, a new session must be selected.
7) If you do not receive a confirmation email from us within seven (7) working days, please first check your junk folder. If there is still no email, please email: shop@childrensdiscoverymuseum.hk
8) Upon purchasing "2024 Friends+ Play Package", the full name of child and up to three names of adults names are required. A photo of the child is also required as part of the application, as a <Friends+ ePass> will be created using the child's full name. The listed names of the adults will also be included.
9) "2024 Friends+ Play Package" holder is responsible to provide complete and accurate information when purchasing the Package. CDM is unable to accept liability for any loss due to inaccurate information.
10) Under no circumstances can any redeemed Promo Code and/or redeemed tickets be refunded or exchanged for any other services and/or merchandise.
11) Holder of the Package must enter the relevant Promo Code in the "Promo Code" field during the online ticket purchasing process to enjoy the offer. If the Promo Code is not entered before the payment transaction, CDM will not accept responsibility for any loss and no refunds will be issued. After entering the Promo Code, the system will automatically apply the offer to the ticket purchase and display the offer on the webpage.
12) All Promo Codes from this Package cannot be used in conjunction with other codes or discounts. If the number of tickets purchased exceeds the applicable limit of the Promo Code, the additional tickets will be charged based on the ticket price listed.
Three Visit Passes Promo Codes: (applicable for one child and one adult)
Only one Visit Pass Promo Code can be redeemed per each eligible transaction. Each Visit Pass Promo Code can only be used once during the validity period. The number of tickets redeemed must be equivalent to the number of people who purchased the "2024 Friends+ Play Package" and cannot be used separately. Additional people can purchase tickets online using the general admission fee or purchase tickets onsite using the holder's 20% off Friend Ticket Discount.
25% off Weekend Ticket Discount Promo Code: (applicable for one child and one adult) Only one 25% off Weekend Ticket Discount Promo Code can be used per each eligible transaction and can only be used one time per session. The maximum number of tickets redeemed is equivalent to the number of people who purchased the "2024 Friends+ Play Package". Additional people can purchase tickets online using the general admission fee or purchase tickets onsite using the holder's 20% off Friend Ticket Discount.
13) 20% off Friend Ticket Discount can only be purchased by "2024 Friends+ Play Package" holder onsite on the day of the session. No pre-booking is allowed. Sessions quotas and the quota of number of people allowed per session for entry are limited and are processed on a first come first served basis.
14) Promo Codes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for other goods/services/merchandise.
15) Any loss accrued due to the leakage of the Promo Codes is the holder's responsibility. CDM will not compensate for any loss.
16) If anyone is found with fraud elements or exploits the Promo Code in any means (at the sole discretion of the Hong Kong Children's Discovery Museum), the Museum reserves the right to disqualify them from enjoying the offer.
17) Tickets that have been redeemed using the "Three Visit Passes" will be deemed as used if there is no show. No compensation of any kind will be permitted.
18) The admission procedure takes time. Please arrive at the museum ten minutes before your session and present the QR code ticket and <Friends+ ePass> to our Discovery Staff.
Package holders must present the <Friends+ ePass> for verification of children, adults and number of people who are admitted for entry. Adults are limited to those who have been registered on the <Friends+ ePass>. If CDM cannot verify the identifies of those listed, CDM may refuse entry for the entire ticket. Tickets that have been purchased will be considered used or price difference per ticket must be paid before entry. Under no circumstances will any redeemed tickets be refunded.
19) No compensation will be made for any late arrivals.
20) Re-entry for the same person is permitted within the designated period. Re-entry by a different person, adult or child, is not permitted. Any time away from CDM will not be compensated.
21) Promo Codes and Friends Ticket Discount are only valid during normal operating hours of the museum. They cannot be used when there are:
a) private events; and
b) workshop sessions which require separate admission charges
22) Succesful purchase of "2024 Friends+ Play Package" means you agree to abide by the "Terms and Conditions", "Disclaimer", and "Health and Safety Measures". It is also your responsibility to inform and ensure that all the people in your group agree to the terms below.
c) Disclaimer
CDM reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions, change or terminate the offer without any notice. In case of any dispute, CDM reserves the right of final decision.
If there is any discrepancy between the Chinese and English versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
