Hong Kong's First and Only Children's Museum
Hong Kong Children's Discovery Museum (CDM) is the city's first and only children’s museum dedicated to play-based learning in language and literacy, S.T.E.A.M., culture, and environmental awareness/stewardship.
CDM is designed especially for children 10 years old and under, and welcomes everyone older and up to 100 years old to visit together! Come join us for play-based learning adventures that inspire a lifelong passion for discovery!
Since its inception in 2018, CDM has welcomed more than 128,000 visitors from the general public, over 200 schools and NGOs to our North Point and pop-up locations, and more recently, to our new permanent home in Sai Wan Ho. Despite the unprecedented challenges over the past few years, we are proud to continue serving Hong Kong's children, families, schools and communities.
CDM is a Section 88 charitable organization (91/18412) that is not affiliated with any government, organisation or corporate.
CDM is a member of the Association of Children's Museum.

WHAT WE DO
CDM serves:
Children: we encourage child-led learning by offering a unique playscape, designed specifically to cater towards every child's cognitive and physical developmental needs.
Families: we work with parents and caregivers to value play through first-hand experiences at the museum, tailored workshops and the sharing of effective strategies for home use.
Schools: we collaborate with educators to expand children's learning experiences beyond their formal learning environment and to support professionals in their teaching endeavours.
Communities: we welcome people from all backgrounds including those who have different abilities or may require financial assistance
