CDM is made up of passionate individuals, which consist of the Discovery Team (operations), Education Team, and Admin Team. Together, we are all dedicated to promote the importance of learning through play in Hong Kong.
Serena Fan
Founder + Executive Director
Ms. Fan is an experienced and passionate early childhood educator who believes that young children should be provided ample time, space, and opportunities to develop their innate curiosities.
Prior to CDM, her professional experiences were in the United States, China, and Hong Kong, working in classroom settings, education management, and family consultation. Ms Fan was awarded as a Gen.T Leader of Tomorrow for shaping Asia’s future in 2020.
Ms. Fan holds a Bachelors of Arts in Child Development and International Relations from Tufts University and a Masters in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is also a licensed teacher in Massachusetts, USA.
