Designed specifically for kindergartens and primary schools | Led by clinical trauma specialist and music therapist | Option for parent-child or students only

"Music Workshop for Emotional Growth and Support" is a carefully designed workshop to support emotional growth. Every child possesses innate emotional intelligence, needing only a safe and supportive environment to discover and express it.

To create a coherent experience, it is recommend to combine the Workshop with a Field Trip. This allows children to experience our permanent S.T.E.A.M. exhibits (such as the Water Table and the Wind Tube) as well as our latest exhibit theme, "Exploring Emotions".

Children can first build a sense of security and emotional awareness from the Workshop, and then, through the Field Trip to experience CDM, practice what they have learned while playing -- deepening their emotional regulation and ways to express their emotions.

Hong Kong Children’s Discovery Museum is a Hong Kong Section 88 tax-exempt organization (91/18412).

Q: Why is it recommended to combine the Workshop with a Field Trip?
A: To deepen and extend the learning experience, the Workshop focuses on inner awareness, while the Field Trip provides contextualized application and multi-sensory experiences. The combination of the two forms a complete learning cycle of "understanding → feeling → practice."

Q: What is the role of parents if we choose the parent-child option?
A: Parents are co-learners and supporters. We will guide parents on how to become their children's "emotional coaches," learning key skills of accompanying without dominating, supporting without interfering, and strengthening the emotion bond of parent-child.

Q: Are there suitable training programs or workshops for adults only?
A: We also offer adult emotional support workshops, designed specifically for teachers, social workers, counselors, and related professionals. Please inquire separately as an organization or group.
