Terms and Conditions for April 2026 Social Media Promotions
1) The promotion will be available from April 2 - 3, 2026 (noon)
Redemption period: April 3 - 30, 2026
2) On either Facebook or Instagram, complete all the steps listed in social media post for a chance to win one (1) free child ticket for a 1.5 hour play session.
3) The list of winners will be announced in the comment section of the original Facebook and IG post on the stated date of the original post.
All winners must DM their email address to Hong Kong Children's Discovery Museum (hereonafter known as CDM) within 24 hours of this announcement so we can provide more details, failure to do so will result in the forfeit of the winner's eligibility to win the prize.
3a) Within 48 hours of the announcement of the winners, CDM will send an email to all winners who provided their email addresses by the deadline. This email will contain details on how to redeem their tickets. If winners have not received the email more than 48 hours after the announcement, they should check their spam/junk folders and contact CDM as soon as possible. CDM is not responsible for any loss or non-receipt of emails.
4) The one (1) free child ticket is only applicable for one 1.5 hour session from April 3 - 30, 2026. Sessions are limited and bookings are processed on a first come first served basis.
5) Under no circumstances can any redeemed tickets be refunded or exchanged for any other services and/or merchandise.
6) Holder of the Promo Code must enter the relevant Promo Code in the "Promo Code" field during the online ticket purchasing process to enjoy the offer. If the Promo Code is not entered before the payment transaction, CDM will not accept responsibility for any loss and no refunds will be issued. After entering the Promo Code, the system will automatically apply the offer on the ticket confirmation page.
7) The Promo Code cannot be used in conjunction with other codes or discounts. If the number of tickets purchased exceeds the applicable limit of the Promo Code, the additional tickets will be charged based on the ticket price listed.
8) CDM reserves the right to modify the content description (including but not limited to terms and conditions and social media post) without further notice.
9) Visitors must comply with CDM's safety rules and regulations.
10) CDM reserves the right to photograph, film, record or otherwise reproduce the image and/or sounds of any person who enters CDM/during the workshop and use the documentation for any purpose and marketing use without payment to any person. If you do not wish yourself and/or your child to be photographed or filmed, you must inform CDM in writing.
11) CDM reserves the right to refuse entry to any persons whose body temperature is higher than 37 degrees Celsius (as indicated by the temperature detector used by CDM) or to those who have significant respiratory infections into the museum.
12) CDM reserves the right to determine the severity of the symptoms and refuses admittance of any child if CDM believes there is any medical concern. No refund or compensation will be given if entry is refused due to illness.
13) By making the payment, you agree to waive your right to pursue legal action against CDM or its staff or interns from any and all liability for injury, illness, or any other condition of yourself or your child(ren) that may occur during direct or indirect participation in any activities or programs while at CDM and after leaving CDM.
14) By entering into CDM, all visitors agree to abide by the "Visiting Guide", as well as the "Terms and Conditions" and "Disclaimer" listed on the CDM website. Hong Kong Children’s Discovery Museum reserves the right to change the "Terms and Conditions" at any time.
15) The Hong Kong Children's Discovery Museum reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions, change or terminate the Promotion without any notice. In case of any dispute, the Museum reserves the right of final decision.
16) If there is any discrepancy between the Chinese and English versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
